OSTEOPATHY SPECIALIST
Ingrida Karalunaite, osteopath, director of Oporto Osteopathy Center:
Ingrida Karalunaite has graduated at the Instituto Técnicas de Saúde (ITS), Oporto in 2010 with Distinction and later returned to teach osteopathic techniques to the students of osteopathy. She is also committed to the education of students at Instituto Técnicas de Saúde (ITS) and Instituto de J. Piaget V.N.Gaia. where she is a clinic tutor for several years.
She practiced in various multidisciplinary practices in Oporto for 7 years working alongside different medical and complimentary therapists. She has completed a postgraduate course in Classical Osteopathy in Maidstone, UK.
Ingrida has completed a postgraduate course in an Osteopathic craneal and visceral approach with Colege of Clinical Applied Osteopathy (CCAO) in Lisbon.
She now enjoys using all her acquired osteopathic skills and knowledge to provide the best opportunity for her patients to experience health throughout the various stages of their lives.
Ingrida studied many courses in England and Portugal to broaden her knowledge in cranial, structural and paediatric osteopathy from various leading Osteopaths in the field.
She also uses dry needling as an adjunct to her treatments.
Ingrida has a large experience in miofascial release and deep tissue massage, and therapeutic massage since 2005.
She now enjoys using all her acquired osteopathic skills and knowledge to provide the best opportunity for her patients to experience health throughout the various stages of their lives.
